Here's a great idea I think is really catching on. Palettes of Perfection is a local wedding library in Asheville, NC.

The idea of a wedding library is to provide a bricks and mortar location for wedding vendors who probably don't have their own space where they can meet with brides and grooms. You may not realize this, but most wedding pros work out of their homes, because office space can be pricey. Advertising is also expensive, so this type of communal business is perfect because they will also do a lot of the marketing for the smaller wedding pros.  It lets the vendors focus on you, their client. It also makes it easy for you to find, and support, local businesses.

Is there something like this where you live? If so, please tell me about it.

Today's props go to Photographer Lisa Dawn from the UK sent me her photos from this wedding, it was held on an organic farm (Huntstile) in Somerset.

 

I love the simplicity of the overall affair--it makes the vibrant color palette really pop. Nice bridesmaid dresses--for sure you could wear these again.

 

I really like the wedding gown--a straight column, really a sheath, with straps (yay) and a very simple train. Elegant, timeless, beautiful. And the groom looks awesome in his (wear it again Sam) suit. And love the flower petals (no rice please, and bubbles--yawn)

 

And I leave you with the cute bunting--looks to me like a little Cath Kidston moment. See, it's not so hard, right? Now tell me what you're NOT doing to make your day a little more simple, sane, and sustainable!
